Several of us old guys could remember this Bantam altered called "Little Ben," but we couldn't remember the name of its owner. Finally, Sherman Cummins sent me an E-mail identifying the owner/driver as Lyle Smith of Wichita.
The altered above was owned by Harold Wilson. I remember that it always pulled the front wheels up when it left the line and went even higher when it hit second.
