The best time for Richard LeJuerrne in his Black Widow street rod was 15.77 and I couldn't get the mph written down before the scoreboard was turned off. His time trials had been in the mid 16s and he wasn't into fourth gear yet, so he switched the Halibrand quick change around (an advantage of owning the company) and improved things substantially.
Richard's "Black Widow" is clearly a street rod, but it did pretty well for itself running in the 15's. Although I didn't get a picture of it, I definately saw a little haze off those nostalgia slicks on the burnouts. The sound was great coming out of those long uncapped pipes.
Richard, in black, and his son look over the mill between rounds. Notice the polished aluminum Canadian heads.
